Before investing money in filing a patent application (which in order to be granted requires your invention to be new and non-obvious/inventive) it is wise to check that there is nothing too similar to your invention already published or patented. 

The process

I will:

1. Ask you questions about your invention (and provide a Non-Disclosure Agreement if requested).

2. Carry out category-based keyword searches in the various global patent databases to identify published patents which may be relevant to the patentability/commercialisation of your invention.

3. Summarise the relevant results for you and provide my opinion on whether you should proceed with a patent application for your invention, or if modificaitons are required.
